DRV8301's dead time not constant.

Hello,

I am working with a DRV8301 in 3-input mode, and it seems that the dead time is doing naughty things by not keeping constant. This is causing frequent short circuits that have led to some broken DRV's. Above some power threshold the gate driver gets internally damaged (at the time of one of these short circuits) throwing constant GVDD_UV errors and thus not switching the MOSFETS anymore.

The dead time is set up to maximum (500ns), with a 150 KOhm resistor.

I attach a video of two high and low gate signals while the motor is spinning, showing this changing dead time.

I suspect that the DRV might not be able to switch such mosfets quickly enough. Is that possible? Could someone confirm from the video that the switching process is too slow? Also, why is the dead time not constant?

Thank you in advance.
