DRV8834: Uncertain voltage to digital input pins

Hi,

Our customer has a question about DRV8834.
I'm posting the question for the customer:

When the device is in a low-power sleep mode (nSLEEP=Low),

the uncertain voltage from 0.7-V to 2.0-V is applied to
the digital input pins (STEP,DIR,nENBL,M0,M1) for a few seconds.

Does the above cause a breakdown of the device?

I guess a flow-through current flows through the high-side and
low-side transistors of the input circuit if the internal circuit is CMOS.
