Greatings! I`m using DRV8711 to control a few stepper motors. My microstep indexer is 16. My stepper motors have 1.8 degrees turn angle. So I need to know if I pass only one pulse to DRV8711 is the motor going to rottate on 1.8/16=0.1125 degrees? Or I have to pass the entire 16 steps sequency to achieve 1.8 degrees. What does happen when I change the directions in the middle of the cycle - for example after 5 steps?
I`m asking because I`m using using 2 stepper motor to X and Y movement and I have a lot of deviation after 50-100 moves. It reaches 10mm, but the max range of movement 50mm for most of the 50-100 cycles.
I think I`m not controlling the drivers correcty.
What`s the max period for the step sygnals?
