I'm using the LM628/LM629 to drive the DC brush motors on our products. now I need to design a protect function to make the motor driven safely, so I want to read the value of PWM or Sum of PID calculation in LM628/LM629 in cycle. But I don't find the relative commands to read the registers of PWM or PID Sum in the specifications, only find the command about reading integration Sum.
I only could find the command set the threshold of position error for interrupt, but it is not so safe to drive the motor, if the load become bigger, the motor may work on overload continuously, which could burn out the motor.
So, could you give me some suggestion about checking PWM or PID Sum in LM628/LM629, to make my products work safely?
