Hi,
I am working on a linear actuator made up of BLDC motor. LVDT sensor is mounted on the actuator for position feedback. So far I am successfull in spining the motor using DSP+DRV 8313 and hence the actuator can move both up and down. However the I have to manually stop the spinning of the motor from the simulink by varying the PWM. Additionally I have a LVDT signal conditioner through which I can translate the LVDT output and bring it to between 0--3.3 volts, which is the input voltage range of the DSP.
My question is it possible to perform the position control with single feedback loop of the lvdt as shown in attachment, and control the position of the actuator by controlling the PWM. (Please visit the site to view this file)
