We have some new questions of DRV10975. There have “SPEED_PWM DIGITAL MODE” parameter in page 7 of DRV10975 datasheet.
The parameter of only have Min voltage but there is no Max voltage. From “Absolute Maximum Ratings” , there have the absolute maximum rating equal to 4V.
Question 1 : What’s the maximum voltage for SPEED Pin? Is it 4V ? Thefront of Motor driver have a Micom could only supply 5V. But if the SPEED Maximum ratings voltage is 4V. if we connect 5V to SPEED pin, is it OK ? do we need to step-down the voltage to below 4V ?
Question 2 : PWM input frequency is from 1KHz to 100KHz in the datasheet. If the PWM frequency is beyond the DRV10983 application range (1Khz ~ 100Khz). What will happen ? if the PWM input frequency is 100Hz(<1KHz) what will happen ? If we apply a 100Hz, 100% duty-cycle input voltage what will happen ?(as we know, 100% means it will be a DC voltage) So what’s the different between 100Hz 100% input voltage and 10Khz 100% input voltage ?
2. i know DRV10975 is the latest motor driver. why the number is smaller than DRV11873 ?
